I ordered smoked corner markers and tail light tint from ECS and finally got around to getting the corners installed (too windy and cold in Minneapolis for the tint). I followed a DIY from the internet for a B7 A4 and it was not as easy as they made it sound! The passenger side has easy access thru the wheel well, but the drivers side was very difficult to get to and I had to resort to a flashlight/long screwdriver combo in order to complete the work. I’m happy with the overall look - so happy to get rid of the orange look. The car is slowly coming long - just hoping and praying on a daily basis that the timing chain will hold out long enough for me to replace it before it goes kurplunk!

I went with smoked corners and side makers on my M3 and it looks 10x better. I kept the amber bulbs because I like how they look in the corner lights. Amazing how such small things bring the look together.

If you have a timing chain looming, why worry about aesthetics? The corner markers will make no difference when that chain goes.

It’s not loose - I just know it’s a major service that I want to complete BEFORE it goes wrong. Will be getting it done as a preventative measure, not one out of (current) necessity
